Abstract: Nevertheless, if you are specifically looking for a camera with high speed capture capabilities the Casio is a good choice. Out if the three CMOS cameras in this test (the Nikon P100 and Fujifilm HS10 are the other two) it offers the fastest continuous shooting at high res (40 fps at 9MP and reduced quality) and (together with the Fujifilm) the most..
Casio's Exilim EX-FH25 is a high-speed, super-zoom model that is very similar to the EX-FH20. Featuring a High Sensitivity, 10-Megapixel CMOS imaging sensor, 20x optical zoom lens, 40fps burst image capture at 9-Megapixels, up to 1000fps video capture...
An impressive camera that, at £400, is close to DSLR territory, although you wouldn’t get the same zoom range in a DSLR body and lens for that priceOverall Our provides the latest photography news, reviews, previews, features and tecniques. Alternati...
Broad zoom range; great high-speed shooting capability; lens zoom can be used in video
Plasticky body; only mono sound on videos; higher video speeds result in increasingly lower resolutions
The FH25 will best suit families with hyperactive children – they are the ones most likely to make use of the fast photo and video capture speeds Good points Broad zoom range; great high-speed shooting capability; lens zoom can be used in video Bad po...
Long lens reach, fast capture options, 26-option BestShot scene modes, backlit CMOS sensor
Plastic-y feel, bulky, manual settings hidden away within menus, feels pricey at £399.99

Good definition at full zoom; amazing high-speed shooting capability; 340-shot battery life on alkaline cells
No eye sensor for switching between the electronic viewfinder and LCD display; slow start-up time; weak movie mode
Superzoom cameras and high-speed action go together like cheddar and Branston Pickle. Filling the frame with your subject is only half the battle, though -- it's capturing the key moment that's the really tricky part. This is where the Casio Exilim EX-...
The mix of compact design and pro-style features means the FH25 has its feet in two camps at once but this is a definitely a good compromise option. The 20x zoom lens is of high quality and the LCD is clear, crisp and bright. In stills mode the potential for up to 40fps is spot-on for capturing fleeting moments before they disappear, while manual focus and exposure give you decent levels of contr
In video you’ll find that the higher the frame rate (anything from 120fps to 1,000fps is available) the lower the resolution of the image. This is particularly frustrating should you want to grab a still photo from a video sequence, as it won’t be of very good quality. Using 4x AA batteries for power means there is a tendency for these to drain very quickly.
If you’re on a tight budget but still want the functionality of a DSLR in a compact body the FH25 is a strong candidate – and one that benefits from being easy to use, too.Best offers for the Casio Exilim Pro EX-FH25Best Cameras £299.99 Amazon Marketpl...
