  • Solid construction and design, Custom exterior lighting system, Lockable storage compartment with USB 3.0, Custom toolless design
  • Awkward 140mm fan mount on the back panel (Note: There is a bracket to convert it to 120mm, but it would have been easier to add mounting holes for both 140mm and 120mm fan solutions), Not compatible with internal watercooling systems with dual or trip
  • After reviewing the exterior, interior, and installing a mid-range gaming system into the Colossus, I'd have to say that BitFenix has a real winner on their hands with this massive E-ATX case. The case's depth and original features moves away from tr...

  • Awesome design, The lights, Great cooling, Tons of room inside, Gamer-specific features, Price
  • The grommets on the cable routing holes came off easily, Availability
  • As I said in the introduction we rarely see a new player in the computer case market that really impresses us. I think the last company that did that was NZXT. BitFenix seems to know what they are doing as they are a collaboration of several veterans i...

  • Looks great, very unique design, Allowance for different colors and modes on the external LEDs, Plenty of room for all your components, Top compartment is great for gadgets and peripherals, Great cooling system and options, Interior cable management system is superb, Security minded features (GPU straps, locking top compartment,
  • Very Heavy, Front cable management could use a few improvements, Front door needs a way to stay closed, HDD/Power LEDs are not visible with door closed
  • The Performance of the Colossus is great. The fans perform very well, and are practically silent. I have had no issues with temperatures at all, and I have not had any trouble with dust in my case. The front I/O panel performs as it should. The only t...

  • In all, BitFenix's first case is a solidly built and sturdy case, but is a little on the heavy side. The Colossus should do rather well for anyone but the LAN going crowd. ...

  • The BitFenix Colossus is definitely a game changer in our book. The sheer size of the case and vast amounts of room on the inside leave ample room to route wires and use just about any hardware on the market. The wire management options were first cla...

  • Overall build quality should be pretty good, Front USB 3.0 ports, Awesome LED light system, Great cable management options, Quiet, Good tool-free installation mechanisms (except the HDD trays but this should be fixed in the retail version), Integrated fan controller, BitFenix S3 for locking valuables and USB peripherals, Lots of working space, BitFenis listens to review feedback
  • Very heavy, 140mm rear fan not included, has no specific mounting holes to fit 120mm LC solutions, No room for large radiators without modding, Flimsy door hinges, Rubber grommets around the cable management holes come off too easily, Side panels are hard to remove, Expensive
  • BitFenix made a grand debut with the Colossus, if they can keep up this high standard the future looks very rosy for this company. There were some build quality issues with my case due to the fact that it's a pre-production model, but BitFenix listened...

  • BitFenix Colossus got impressive results, considering that it was equipped with two fans less: one 230mm and a 120mm exhaust fans. The external design of the Colossus is very original and looks good during the day and astonishing during the night; the l...

  • The best thing about new companies entering a market is the new ideas that they bring with them, and BitFenix has packed a fair few into the Colossus. The lighting in particular looks fantastic, and is on par with a top-quality mod - it gives the Colossus...

  • BitFenix Colossus is the first offering from the fledgling company and it's big and heavy as the name suggests, but I will hold final thoughts until we see the production Colossus. ...

  • Competitive price / performance, Boatload of unique features, Embedded dual color LED system in doors & front, Coated plastic for more resilience, Lockable storage included, Grooves to run cables down the front of the case, Front I/O includes USB 3.0 and
  • Paint job of door not perfect, a few small areas with less paint, Mainboard hole for backplates is a bit too small, Tooling a bit disadvantagous, hinges of door look a bit ugly, Hard drive trays a bit too flexible, Tool-less optical bay system does not ho
  • It is always interesting to see how companies choose the labels and names for their products. While some are more or less what you would expect in terms of overall design, the BitFenix Colossus is a perfect fit. The case is incredibly wide, large, bulk...
