  • Fantastic new screen, USB 3.0 ports, 8GB memory standard, Fusion Drive option, Excellent new processors
  • No optical drive, Can't upgrade memory later, Slower standard hard drives, No FireWire 800 port

  • Abstract:  The iMac hasn’t had much attention from Apple in recent years―its metallic all-in-one design has received only minor modifications since its introduction in 2007. Despite this, Apple claims that the iMac is currently the top-selling desktop computer in th...

  • The new Apple iMac is scorchingly beautiful - though you probably could have guessed. It looks much like the last generation from the front, but is much, much thinner at the edges (just 5mm). It’s an illusion of sorts, since it tapers up to the middle where it’s just as thick as before, but it’s a beautiful one. So too is the screen around front, a vivid, gorgeous HD panel with wide viewing anlge

If we can level a complaint, it’s that you can’t add more RAM to the 21 inch model yourself - you can still on the 27-inch model. That, and we still can’t get to grips with Apple’s low lying Magic Mouse: we much prefer th
  • The new Apple iMac is even more powerful, and even more beautiful: if you’re after an all in one it really is the best money can buy. Of course, the only thing to consider is if you really need an all-in-one. These days, tablets and laptops are squeezi...

  • Speedy Intel Core i5 quad, core processor, Discrete Nvidia GeForce GT 640M graphics, No power brick, New super, slim design
  • Entry, level pricing isn't so entry, level, No HDMI input
  • If you're currently a Mac user, the refreshed, svelte Apple iMac 21.5in gives you everything you'd expect from a new Mac desktop. Granted, there are a few negatives here: It lacks any height adjustment of the display, or upgrade potential, and there's no...

  • The 21.5 inch Apple iMac is quite an interesting machine. It looks pretty good in our opinion and has interesting specs. The Intel Core i5 combined with the nVidia GeForce GT640M results in a pretty decent performance. We applaud the fact that Apple opt...

  • Screen, thinness, build quality, power,
  • SD card reader cumbersome to use, screen isn't Retina, it's hard to upgrade the memory and hard drive, do you still need a desktop
  • As for whether this will be your next computer, it's hard to tell, the days of the personal computer being something static in your house are on the wane. ...

  • In some respects, the new iMac is too clever by half. When working on it, you'll never know how slim it is, but it does impact in other ways, as it's incredibly light to move around. Apple has been listening too, as the screen really is less reflective b...

  • Abstract:  Today we received the new, sleek 21.5-inch Apple iMac. Of course we immediately had to unbox it, and we took some photos to share our joy. The model that you see here is the entry-level model (MD093N/A), equipped with a 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5 processor,...
