  • Abstract:  That the fastest processors are currently made by Intel is not really a secret, but what is the best choice when you want to spend up to £ 50, £100 or £150? To answer that question we conducted a megatest of 57 current AMD and Intel CPUs. From two to...

  • A decent upgrade for an existing AMD setup, relatively cheap
  • Old, old tech, still more power, hungry than Intel, no native USB 3.0 or PCIe support
  • The cheapest eight-threaded CPU around, but there are better options if you don't need that sort of multi-threaded capability....

  • With the FX-8320e AMD have managed to create a very well balanced CPU. It offers performance very close to the more expensive 8370e however does so at a lower price point and with a touch less heat/power use. The CPU performs best in tasks which fully tak...

  • Strong multi-core performance, Excellent value for money, Easy upgrade for AM3+ owners
  • Power savings are small, Limited single-core speed
  • The addition of E-Series parts to AMD's FX eight-core line of processors may not be glamorous but, we believe, it's a positive move that AMD is giving consumers a greater range of options. AMD doesn't charge a premium for the FX-8320E and FX-8370E suggest...

  • Lower TDP = lower heat, Good single threaded performance (given the TDP), Good overclocking results!, Good gaming performance, Cheap!
  • Multicore performance suffers due to lower TDP
  • How to summarize the FX-8320E and MSI 970 Gaming? In short, they're a perfect pair. For a price lower than any of the Intel CPUs alone, you can get both a very good CPU for general use and gaming, as well as a damn fine motherboard to go with it... along...

  • Good value for money, Acceptable multi-threaded performance, Unlocked multiplier that allows overclocking, Good temperature, Compatible with existing AM3+ motherboards
  • Poor single-threaded performance, Relatively high power consumption even at stock clock, Draw of luck in getting a good overclocking chip, Limited memory overclocking, AMD FX-8320E received Silver Award from OCDrift.com, Disclaimer: OCDrift.com gives out

  • The AMD FX8320E is honestly a surprising entry – a pleasant one that is. For the price that you can buy this processor for, you're getting a high performer that has a LOT of potential. Also you're getting eight Cores, something that would be considered lu...

  • Affordable, Good performance

  • AMD's new affordable FX CPU offering is great, as it is not only wallet-friendly, but performs very well too. Definitely one to consider if you're thinking of making budget PC for work and play, be it for the office or home.(previously published in issue...

  • It's not new and it's not revolutionary either but it's a great step ahead. You now have an 8-core 3.5Ghz processor solution at under RM 600, the processor retails at around RM 570. It performs very close to the 125w FX-8350 that's priced at around RM 700...
