  • Durable, Affordable, Plenty of content to please all ages, even those who are well over 12, Parental controls are strict, but easily adjusted (by the parent), Can easily monitor the usage of multiple kids,
  • Hard to smuggle in non-Amazon content, Camera isn't very good,

  • This low-cost tablet is good enough for most video, game, app and social needs, plus its onboard storage is expandable via microSD card. The Kids Edition includes a wealth of extras, including deep parental controls, a no-questions-asked two-year warranty
  • The Kids Edition costs significantly more than the otherwise identical standard version. There are the same app store limitations as the other Amazon Fire tablets, and no kid is going to prefer this to a (much more expensive) iPad
  • The kid-friendly version of the excellent Amazon Fire HD 8 costs a lot more, but offers a big package of worthwhile extras for preteens...

  • Tough rubber case with kickstand,Fire for Kids Unlimited subscription,Affordably priced,
  • Fewer apps than the Apple/Google stores, Average hardware specs, Pushes you towards Amazon products,
  • While the choice of apps might not be quite as good as it is with Apple and Google devices, the chunky Fire HD 8 Kids Edition has plenty to entertain and educate your kids - and Amazon throws in some very impressive content and free replacement deals as w...

  • Built-in parental controls make it easy to restrict when it's used and which apps are available - adjust them from the tablet or any web browser, It's got 32GB of storage space, and you can install a MicroSD card if you need more space, Amazon Underground
  • There's no way of tracking the tablet's location if you lose it, or to remotely wipe your personal data from it, Amazon Underground, a free app store loaded with thousands of apps and games, can easily be accessed via the tablet
  • The perfect tablet for children. You can leave them alone with it and be confident that they're safe and won't stumble on any inappropriate content. It's a more compact option compared to the bigger 10in version, and this is great value for money. The bum...

  • HD screen for cheap, Rugged, Fantastic warranty
  • Amazon app store is somewhat limited
  • Who says kids can't appreciate hi-def video and gaming content? Available for a bit more than the smaller seven-inch version, the HD 8 Kids packs a larger display and a bigger battery life to keep the party going until bedtime comes around...
