  • New smaller and slimmer size. New higher contrast display is better than ever, makes books super easy to read in any environment. WebKit browser is a nice touch. Now with a 4GB internal memory. One word – PRICE!,
  • Interface is a bit sluggish and not very fluid. Side buttons feel a bit cheap. Memory is not expandable and battery is sealed in device.
  • So being a virgin to this whole crazy world of the Amazon Kindle I have to say I may actually enjoy its delectable delights. Not only is the Kindle Wi-Fi 3rd generation super adorable and a great travel companion, the battery life is impressive, it off...

  • Smaller, less expensive and higher contrast display
  • Still locked into the Amazon store, no ePUB support
  • Amazon has become the one to beat in terms of hardware, book selection, customer service and price. The $139 Kindle 3 with WiFi is a wonderful reader for an impressively low price. The 3G + WiFi version manages to come in $10 cheaper than the Nook (we...

  • Compact Design, Higher-contrast screen than its predecessor, Smarter button layout, Integrated Wi-Fi, 4GB capacity (enough space for 3,500 books), Wide selection of books, magazines, and blogs,
  • No support for EPub format,
  • The latest edition's improvements aren't revolutionary, but the Amazon Kindle remains the best dedicated ebook reader on the market. ...

  • Slimmer, more compact design than previous Kindle; improved screen with higher contrast and faster page turns; native PDF support; large library of hundreds of thousands of e-books, newspapers, magazines, and blogs via Amazon's familiar online store; Wi-F
  • No expansion slot for adding more memory, no support for EPUB book files, no protective carrying case included, battery is sealed into the device and isn't removable
  • The third-generation Kindle's winning combination of noteworthy upgrades--an improved screen, better battery life, lighter weight, and lower price--vaults it to the top of the e-book reader category.

  • Amazon keeps pace with a more competitive ereading marketplace with a smaller device, more readable text, yet and another improved hardware interface. 9 price for WiFi version will open the door for multiKindle families. Battery life is long enough for sp
  • Still the same DRM, no touchscreen navigation, the booklight case is too costly. Only those with tiniest fingers will avoid hitting the “back” button when moving the cursor down. Interface for newspaper and magazines still clunky

  • Abstract:  It didn't take long to realize that this Kindle was unlike any other I'd handled before--including the new Kindle DX (Graphite). Maybe 20 seconds, tops. Never mind the obvious giveaways--smaller size, less wasted real estate around the edges, new butto...

  • The size, the speed and the quality of the Kindle 3 make it second to none, it defines eBook Readers of today,
  • The free WiFi capabilities are at times slow and unless you connect to a wireless network, WiFi is only provided in certain AT&T hotspots.
  • The Kindle 3 is the top eBook Reader available on today's market, it is easy to use and provides the best quality we have seen in an eReader....
